Poolside living is considered the norm in Phuket, virtually all of the larger sized holiday villas have at the very least a plunge pool and some even extend to almost olympic sized splendour! In gated communities and condominium / apartment complexes there is usually a communal pool included within the rent. Cheaper accomodation may not have this facility but there are usually communal pools nearby which you will be able to use
