Paradise Beach

Paradise Beach is at the peak of the headland that juts out just past the southern end of Patong Beach. This quiet little beach is sheltered by the rocky headland so is suitable for swimming for most of the year and the coral reef some 100 metres out offers some excellent snorkeling.

Paradise Beach is roughly 150 metres long and is flanked by large granite rocks; the overhanging palm trees lining the beach offer much welcomed shade.

Even though Phuket beaches are public land there is a small 100 baht fee to access Paradise Beach through privately owned land – but this does include the use of a sun-lounger and umbrella. There is a small restaurant at the entrance that serves simple local Thai dishes and chilled drinks.

Whilst quite popular, Paradise Beach retains a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere and is free from the jet-skis and paragliding motor boats of its much busier neighbour Patong. There are however long-tail boats available for hire that will take you past some beautiful beaches and tiny coves – or all the way to Patong Beach.

Paradise Beach is only about five kilometres south west of Patong Beach. To get there, heading south from Patong Beach Road towards Amari Coral Beach Resort, you then take a left at the fork past Baan Yin Dee and up the hill. Passing the entrance to Tri Trang Resort and then Merlin Beach Resort you follow the road to Emerald Bay and after a few twists and turn in the road you arrive at the aptly named Paradise Beach.

Paradise Beach is an excellent day out away from the hustle and bustle of the major tourist hot spots around Phuket and offers some great views across Patong Bay and beyond.

Paradise Beach Accommodation

We offer some of the best and top quality holiday villas, apartments and condominiums on Phuket Island. We have a wide selection available around the Paradise Beach area throughout the year - although during the high season accommodation does tend to fill up quickly so it is advisable to book well in advance. Paradise Beach is one of Phukets most beautiful beaches for a holiday not to forget.

*Please note that Paradise beach along with all other Phuket beaches entering the sea during low season is NOT recommended, strong currents and rip tides make them dangerous, even to strong swimmers.
